How and which days do deliveries happen in Tauranga and Whangarei?

For Tauranga and surrounding areas:

Order by midnight any day. We process your order the next day and deliver the day after. Farm-fresh goodness at your door in just two days!

  • Delivery charge is $12.95.
  • Postcodes covered: 3110, 3112, 3116, 3118, 3508, 3600, 3610, 3129, 3114, 3174

For Whangarei and surrounding areas:

Deliveries occur on Mondays and Fridays only.

  • For Monday delivery: Order by Saturday midnight.
  • For Friday delivery: Order by Wednesday midnight.

Late orders move to the next delivery day.

  • Delivery charge is $12.95.
  • Postcodes covered: 0110, 0112, 0510, 0900

Do you offer click and collect?

Yes, we offer a click and collect option. Here's how it works:

  • Place your order online by midnight any day.
  • We process your order the next day.
  • Minimum order value for pickup is $10.
  • Most orders are ready for collection the next day after you place your order.
  • During busy periods, your order may be ready the day after that (two days from ordering).
  • You'll receive a "Ready for pickup" email when your order is available.
  • Please wait for the "Ready for pickup" email before coming to collect your order.
  • Pickup instructions will be included in the email.

We've updated our process to ensure we provide the highest quality service. While we strive to have orders ready quickly, we prioritize freshness and proper preparation. This may occasionally mean a slightly longer wait, but it guarantees you'll receive the best possible products.

Which areas do you offer delivery to, and what are the fees?

We proudly deliver to Auckland and Hamilton. For a complete list of delivery postcodes, please visit our Delivery Postcode Page. Delivery at very competitive rates ranging from $9.95 to $12.95. Delivery charges will be:Auckland $9.95, Auckland Rural $12.95, Warkworth $12.95, Hamilton $12.95, Bay of Planty $12.95, Northland $12.95.

When will my order arrive?

We aim for delivery within 2 days of order placement. Once your order is out for delivery, you'll receive an email with a tracking link which lets you monitor your delivery and see an estimated arrival time.

What if I'm not home for the delivery?

During checkout, please provide us with delivery instructions (e.g., "Leave on the porch" or “Leave at the backyard”).  If no instructions are provided, your box will be left at your doorstep. You'll receive a delivery notification with a photo for proof of delivery.

Do you offer weekend and public holiday deliveries?

Yes! We believe everyone deserves fresh produce, so we deliver 7 days a week, including public holidays.

What if my order is delayed?

While we aim for timely deliveries, occasional delays can occur.  If your order hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us at hello@farmersbox.co.nz  or fill the form below for an update on your order.

Do you collect the boxes for re-use/re-cycle when delivering the next lot of boxes?

Yes, we do collect the empty boxes on the next delivery. Please make sure to put this in the notes/delivery instructions on your next order.

What do I do if there's an issue with my order (e.g., damaged produce, missing items)?

We strive to deliver the freshest and highest-quality produce. If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us at hello@farmersbox.co.nz within 24 hours of delivery including photos of the soiled/damaged produce and packing slip. We'll work quickly to resolve the issue. For more details, please see our Refund Policy.

What if I missed the original delivery?

Certainly you can. In such a scenario please email us immediately after placing your order and we will share an invoice along with a payment link for the additional items. 

P.S. - Amendments to the existing order are feasible only if it hasn't reached the processing stage.  

How do we handle eggs?

Fruit, veggies and eggs are handled in a shared facility.
